Careers Fair 2020
Representatives from over 36 local and national businesses, colleges, universities and apprenticeship providers gave career advice to pupils at Chase High School’s annual Careers Fair on Wednesday 12 February 2020.
The Careers Fair was open to all students and was attended by a variety of providers including; Southend Hospital, PROCAT, Oxford Brookes University and many more!
The Careers Fair gives students the opportunity to find out more information about further education programmes, job opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering and the different career paths open to them.
Mrs Wendy Krusche, Head of Careers, said, “The Careers Fair is part of a wider Careers and Progression Programme at the school. Students take part in CV writing seminars, mock interview days and two weeks of work experience alongside their study enabling them to progress to higher education or the world of work.”
A student in Year 11, said, “The Careers Fair has been a brilliant opportunity to find out more about the different career paths open to me when I leave school. I have really enjoyed talking with the range of different exhibitors and found it particularly useful to find out more about apprenticeships and University courses.”
