Headteacher’s Welcome
Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in learning more about our school. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to share with you how Chase High prioritises our pupils’ personal development, guiding them on their journey to becoming happy, confident and well-rounded adults.
Aspirations, Character, Excellence
At Chase High, we place a firm focus on academic progress, with a strong belief that hard work really is worth it. Our teachers’ enthusiasm and commitment to supporting each pupil’s individual needs and aspirations gives each student the opportunity to unlock their potential. By treating each pupil as an individual, we help ensure students, regardless of ability, enjoy a positive learning experience where they always feel comfortable, challenged and encouraged.
In 2020, Chase High School posted its best ever GCSE results.
The Chase Community
While academic progress is essential, we balance this with the need for students to be happy and supported in all aspects of their personal development. To this end, we have established an environment that encourages inclusivity, diversity and respect across all year groups, guided by a Head of Year that will be there for students throughout their time at Chase High.

Furthermore, we take great care to ensure student safety and wellbeing at all times. Pupils join a tutor group with a dedicated tutor, there to offer day-to-day care, support and guidance, and to help swiftly respond to any instances of conflict.
Beyond the Classroom
School is more than a list of things you need to learn – it’s a set of doors that can open up a life-long passion. Whether it’s our varied choice of school trips, shows and performances, or our extensive extra-curricular activities across sports, arts and technology, we encourage students to discover new pursuits, make new friends and become more balanced individuals.
A Bright Future
Chase High is a school always aspiring to be better. By September 2020 we expect to be taking in 226 pupils in Year 7, and to facilitate this growth we are working with the council to construct a new block, incorporating new up-to-date classrooms and a new canteen area for students. This is a really exciting development for our school, and I’m confident this investment will continue to help our students grow into well-rounded young adults.
