The school emphasises the dual need for academic achievement and personal development of our pupils. We expect them to aim high and study hard in order to maximise their achievements, at the same time we encourage the traditional values of good manners, courtesy, honesty, reliability and team work. In this way we help our pupils prepare for the world of work as well as making valuable contributions to the wider community.
We want all pupils to develop their individual interests, hobbies and talents. To this end, we offer a wide range of clubs after school, as well as a variety of educational and recreational trips and visits.
All staff work to ensure that our pupils are tolerant and informed on equal opportunity issues. In particular, our RE and Personal Development teachers work with pastoral staff to make sure our pupils learn to be embracing of all cultures and faiths, as well as preparing them for the challenges of adult life.
At Chase High School we have a clear focus on the need for aspiration, care and excellence in all we do. We believe happy pupils are the best learners, so our work focuses on helping children to increase their confidence, ability and resourcefulness. We recognise the diversity of learners and we have experience of helping youngsters access further education at every level. Helping children develop into clever, articulate, well-rounded adults is so rewarding and we welcome the inevitable challenges in the knowledge that hard work really does pay.
