Ofsted progress - Monitoring Visit 1
On the 1 and 2 of April 2025, Chase High School welcomed a new Ofsted team to review the progress made since the previous visit in November 2024. The team of three HMIs spent two full days in the school, engaging with over 100 pupils and observing numerous lessons. They interacted with pupils and students during every social time.
While I cannot share all the details at this moment, I can inform you that the inspectors were very pleased and stated, “the school is a calm place where pupils are able to learn” and “the school is a pleasant place to be for pupils.” The school the Ofsted team observed is the same school I see every day. #ProudToBeChase
Many documents were shared with Ofsted to evidence our continued progress, including our Post Ofsted Action Plan, a comprehensive 44-page document that has been created to align with our School Improvement Plan. This document has been summarised to explain how all stakeholders can work together to continually enhance the experiences we offer to the young people who attend Chase High School.
You are welcome to read our latest Ofsted report. In my view, the only way to judge a school is to visit it for yourself. Please contact Mrs. Walton (Headteacher’s PA) via Reception, 01702 354441, if you would like to see the school on a normal working day. We are always happy to show off our vibrant, happy school and to talk about the journey we are on.
